A: A flexitank is a flexible, multi-layer liquid container installed inside a standard shipping container. It converts the container into a bulk liquid transportation unit and is commonly used to transport compatible non-hazardous liquids.
The capacity depends on the flexitank design, container type, cargo density, and applicable transport requirements. Our standard 20ft flexitanks offer a loading range of approximately 14,000–26,000 liters, while our 40ft flexitank solutions can hold up to 28,000 liters, subject to the specific product configuration and shipment conditions.
Flexitanks are commonly used for compatible non-hazardous liquids, including edible oils, wine, juice concentrates, syrups, base oils, lubricants, latex, polyols, and certain non-hazardous industrial chemicals.
